dash's "in the blues"
after dash's short post-lunch discussion about the problem of evil with n., dash was reminded of picasso's blue period in his painting. hrm hrm here, in a quick sketch, lined streaks of blue and grays dribbling down to an ignoble drop and descent.

tom in a possible existentialist moment
here, tom tucks himself, paws and tail, and is perhaps having a deep thought experiment about whether he is a cat pretending to be a fern, or a fern which had dreamt that he was a cat. or at least that's how dash would like to anthropomorphize tom. unless dash herself is dreaming that she is a human who is trying to force human qualities and thoughts onto tom? O_O
