dash's first latte art!

dash made her first latte art drawing with a toothpick and the foam on ilya's first cuppa from the nespresso machine! -- a lightbulb switched on! ^_^

alright, maybe it is not too obvious from the picture - hrm hrm, maybe dash should go find out what the professionals use : ) be back soon with more latte art! ^_^

nespresso - what else?

ilya got a nespresso machine last weekend ^_^ woohoo!

it makes coffee real good and quick. fuss-free, minimum washing up, and one gets to handle spaceship-like capsules! what more can one ask for?!

dash thinks that the machine itself looks almost like a transformer or a cylon from battlestar galactica, with its metallic and silver casing : ) however, personality-wise, dash imagines it to be similar to marvin the always depressed paranoid android from the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy since the machine looks like its head is permanently looking down.

hrm hrm. a depressed coffee machine that makes aromatic cuppa to perk up the days of others -- now that is a real possible idea for dash's book! ^_^

holding fliipers ^_^

annika's birthday presents to ilya and me had a super-sweet postcard on one of the wrappers -- it was a picture of two penguins holding flippers and waddling along the beach coast -- ^_^

dash has now stuck the postcard above the light switch so that we can see them everyday kekek :D

a sheepish affair

bertha the sheep makes a wholehearted and hopeful run away from farmer jim whom she knows was going to shear her wool. however a run in her tumbled heavy woolly coat began to make bertha sweat -- *pant pant*

and bertha thought to herself, "hrm hrm, maybe letting him shear the wool may not be that bad an affair. it will surely be much lighter a coat to run in, and makes sheer sense!"

it rains. it pours. but we still roar!

singapore is experiencing a bout of odd weather patterns - sudden heavy downpours followed by hot sunny and humid sun. hence dash brings readers this happy croc who is determined to ROAR come what may! :D
