carroty penguin pope sweetcorned its congregation!

kekek dash used her penguin veggie cutter on the carrots this evening for a side dish of corn and carrots to accompany the pesto pasta for dinner. ^_^

: ) in case you were wondering about the act on dash's dinner plate - the carroty penguin pope was holding a short sermon to his congregation about the importance of eating veggies. kekek

dash's quick thoughts on glass

dash has just begun her 8-week stained glass course on monday.

and wooah, glass is a whole new material to learn how to work with! every glass seems to have its own temperament - more edgy than the batik cloth, and hence one is always in focussed negotiation with the glass piece about the path etched.

and here are two blue pieces from dash's first foray in cutting wavy lines on glass - muahahahah!- and dash made a quick sketch of a lady and a vase (with an alarmed-looking owl) : )

here, xenophon sits on dash's office inbox letter tray, and places his furry arm around angel's singapore chilli crab which is currently on a toy exchange programme : )

readers must check out the bright orange-coloured crab who holds in its left claw a chilli padi! XD

horton, morton, qortun!

dash caught sight of melanie's tee and fell in love with the cheerful elephant who is deliriously immersed in his music - check out its wiggly tail that swishes to the tune, and the trunk that is trumpeting the happy vibes! ^_^ kekek

on the topic of happy elephants, dash just watched "horton hears a who" last evening - and omigosh! it's one of the best script and movie! dash recommends that adults watch it too and be reminded that a person is a person, no matter how small!

on a somewhat related note, dash has observed how sad it is that when one enters into the workforce, often this key principle of simple decency is something that one quickly forgets.

this was a picture taken at the podluck that dash and her podmates organised last year. we were playing the game where (too) many people had to all have their feet within a (too) small piece of newspaper. this explains all the huddle cuddle ^_^ kekek
