Cow

Cows are one of Dash's favorite animals.

Dash saw her first real cow in Australia in Sept/Oct 1997 on a road trip from Perth to Albany. The herd of bovine creatures were standing in the meadows, some grazing and chewing cud, some lying in the grass, while others stood near the fence and looked out onto the road and the passing vehicles.

Dash remembered walking up to one cow and wanting to pat its head. However, Dash cowered at the last minute at the sight of the cow's inscrutable expression. What if the cow decides to bite off Dash's hand? Do cows even bite? Hmm.

Ah well. Dash still wonders what if. For now, Dash can only content herself with plush cow cushions (such as the one in pic above) for comfort and the Cows of Farside for laughter : )
