Fei Fei Wanton Mee 飞飞云吞面

dash and her colleagues had a day-long forum theatre-cum-jokering session at dramabox in chinatown yesterday. and finding themselves in the heart of good-food place, dash's colleagues made sure that breakfast, lunch, tea and coffee and dinner were an assortment of gastronomical delights! :D

dinner with vicky was at this famous wanton noodle place Fei Fei Wanton Mee (飞飞云吞面) in the food street.

after a 8-10 minutes' wait (thanks to vicky's patience waiting in line), the noodles finally arrived! ^_^ woohoo!
the noodles were apparently homemade, and each noodle strand was springy, adding much chewy factor to the quotient! :) the char-siew was moist with a very thin layer of fat that lined one side of the meat. there was also a generous serving of greens to boost the fibre factor :)
and, like the Ring from LOTR, the sauce and chili bind them all! >.<>

oh, but dash strongly recommends not partaking the soup that comes with the noodles since it contains much msg, which gave dash a muscle ache behind her neck and vicky a desire for water, marring the overall experience.

yes, vicky's recommendation for this wanton noodle has dash's thumbs-up! : )
