Just this Tue 31 Jul 06, Dash and Deodatus made this snow bear with the snow from Jungfraujorn Mountain (3454m). We hit upon the ingenious idea to use Deodatus' red skittles sweets for the eyes of our snow bear : ) Please note that orange and purple skittle sweets are more valuable since they are Deodatus' favourites. Red ones are more dispensable : )
And since we saw that some children were enraptured by our snow bear, we generously left our creation on the mental bench for them to peer and take photos with.
However, two and a half hours later, when we walked by the same bench, we found that the snow bear had lost one eye and one ear! In a desperate attempt to save snow bear's face, Dash tried to preserve the other remaining skittle sweet eye of snow bear... but failed. And snow bear was blinded. Ah well : (
If one looks closely at this picture, one could guess that snow bear had some time to leave us a message. But sadly the message never got to us.
