There and Back Again II

It is interesting how things oft take strange twists and turns. And suddenly one finds oneself back to where one started.

Q: Why did Dash cross the road again with her boxes of office ware (and wear)?

Today is Dash's second day at her new division - the Rehabilitation and Protection Division. And so Dash found herself back in the MCYS building. Again. Where the buffalos... erm, security guards roam and point sternly when Dash forgets to display her pass prominently. Where the elevators take forever to arrive. Where the environment temperature takes a forlorn dip into winter time.

The happy difference? : ) Dash hears much chirping of people in conversation and banter. Dash also sees more guys - for once, the female-male ratio in Dash's aisle is 50-50%! Dash also has a strategically located cubicle with more sunshine (read: hidden from the main traffic, in a nice cosy corner near a window). Dash also finds herself flanked by colleagues who kept offering food, drinks and cheerful smiles and greetings to Dash! : ) Ahh! kekek Kewl! This place looks great already!! : )

Last Fri, Ley Hoon, Li Yen, Ms Ortego and mf threw a surprise Tea Party for the SPRD Virgo babies (Andy, Fiona and KP) and the leavers (Dash and Agnes who is going back to UK for her studies). Thanks gals! : ) Aiyah, will miss entertaining them for sure : )

Here in picture is Agnes. Agnes is one of the funkiest interns Dash has ever met! : ) She has the coolest shimmery eye shadow that Dash is totally captivated by. And she has a deep-seated sense of humour and is able to actually understand Dash's nonsensical ideas. Despite spending two weeks seated next to Dash in the SPRD office, Agnes claims that she does not think Dash is mad : ) Hmmm. Dash likes Agnes. : )
