This is Dash's 1st watercolour painting using the wet-on-wet technique. Basically, the paper sheet is painted with water to moisten it before colours are added. The waters will ensure a natural blend of the colours. And of course, Dash just had to add some details of human civilisation on top of the mountains : )
This is Dash's 2nd painting - yes, with some lightning bolts in the skies as well (where the canvas had been torn : ) This is a mixture of wet-on-wet and dry-on-wet technique. The latter is done on the bottom half of the painting where the initial layer is allowed to dry first before more opaque colours are added : )
